Boomr Bag is a sterile manure-based bulk mushroom substrate formulated by mycologists to maximize your mushroom yield. It features a proprietary blend of composted horse manure, coco coir, and several quality substrate supplements (even though we keep the exact blend a secret!) Over several years, it has been perfected for dung-loving mushroom species and is widely trusted by mushroom growers. Use your Boomr Bag in monotubs, outdoor beds, or to grow mushrooms from the bag in a humidity-controlled grow room or Martha setup. Adding Your Grain Spawn: We recommended 1 lb of colonized grain spawn for each 5 lb Boomr Bag. (Higher inoculation rates may strengthen your success.) Be sure you mix your grain spawn thoroughly into your Boomr Bag substrate. We at all times recommend clean hands and latex gloves to reduce the introduction of contaminants. It is best practice to wait a minimum of 1 week after arrival before the use of sterile substrates to make sure they were not compromised all over transit. Storage: Boomr Bags must be stored at room temperature out of direct sunlight. No refrigeration is necessary. They are able to also be stored for several months before use.
